Is the Quran Murottal app really free?
Yes, 100% free, InshaAllah, forever. There are no subscription fees, no locked features, and no account to create.
Why does the app need location permission?
Location permission is used only locally on your device to calculate prayer times and determine the qibla direction. Location data is never sent to or stored on a server.
How do I listen to Murottal offline?
Open the surah you want to listen to, then tap the download audio button. Once downloaded, you can play the murottal anytime without an internet connection.
Do prayer times and the Hijri calendar need internet?
No. Prayer times, qibla direction, daily dzikir, and the Hijri calendar are all calculated right on your device — with no network calls at all.
How does the share verse feature work?
When you share a link to a verse, reciter, or dzikir (e.g. quran.congfandi.com/surah/18/10), a recipient who already has the app is taken straight to the same content — and those who don't have it yet see a preview and an app download link.
I found an issue or want to suggest a new Qari — where do I reach out?
